YUM, Greek food!

Hara explains in her final postcard all about Greek cuisine which focuses on dairy, fish and vegetables and chicken, all procured locally, of course!

And YES, olive oil is KING in Greece. How wonderful to know how Greek people truly eat (and not all like eggplant, Hara only likes it in this Moussaka) - I think we just might have to have a day where we make and sample some Greek food to honor all these informative postcards we've been sent from one of the most beautiful places on our planet!

Check out the proverbs Hara has included on the postcard, I LOVE THEM! My favorite? "There are orange trees that grow oranges elsewhere, too" - said to urge not to cry over one specific disappointment, there are plenty of fish and opportunities to be had around us! We will be keeping up with Hara! Who knows, some of us might now be inspired to travel to Athens and see for ourselves these incredible sights and absorb the amazing history!
